David Parkinson was born in Liverpool in 1974 and moved with his parents and siblings to London as a child. A strange boy in a strange city, he learned to love words and ideas as a means to escape. He fell in love with Horror and Science Fiction early, through the superhero comic books he rolled up and tucked into his back pocket, the creased spine, dog-eared paperbacks he carried around, and the visceral, scary movies he watched late at night when he was too young and should have been tucked up in bed.

These experiences and passions have led him to become a unique and dangerous new voice in the realm of horror fiction. His Tales of Terror and Torment, a spellbinding series of novellas, novelettes, and short stories, takes readers to familiar places – to train stations and suburban streets – and beyond: to hidden sun-kissed islands, to the halls of hell, deep into the past, far into the future, and even across the galaxy. But wherever his readers are sent, he always returns them hooked, hanging, and deliriously dreaming of being bled just a little longer.

Whether you're a connoisseur of horror or a curious new seeker of the uncanny, his stories will thrill, disgust, and horrify you with their dark, daring, and deeply disturbing yet achingly beautiful adventures.

Come see what he sees, if you dare!
